Brrrrrraaaaiiiinnnssssss.........

It's that time of year when ANIMEX International Festival of Animation rolls round again, as the great and good of all things cartoony descend onto the frosty streets of a northern English town. The colourised "Bub The Builder" above will be getting screened during my talk on friday - I tried desperately to get this baby submitted to Threadless T Shirts but couldn't work out the software :-/ This is where I expect Andy Glazebrook to leap to my rescue like some hairy faced supergeek!

Further to my last post on Lottie, here's how she measures up to Nine (well, this incarnation of her anyway). You'll also see how Nine himself has evolved in the tail department - we went with a broken crank handled spotty tail to put further distance between our cat and the cat belonging to a certain preschool builder!

If you ARE going to be at ANIMEX, do please come by and say hello. I promise I'm quite approachable, if a little ginger, so if you've no aversion to short fat hirsute fellows then amble on up...

I've not used Threadless T Shirts before but Cafe Press are easy to use when it comes to doing your own T-Shirts and stuff !! The coloured Bub looks fab !!

Glazey - I have a Cafe Press shop as well, but have seen no sales from what I can tell. Threadless sell some great shirts. As for Nine, he doesn't so much have a box, although now and again the Doctor tries an upgrade out on him...

Brian - cheers, squire. My workshop seemed to go well today, the guys who came along seemed to get something from it and were a nice bunch. I do a talk on Getting a Project Greenlit on Friday

Paul - yes, you really do need to get over here, however mother and baby have to come first!

Tim - good man

Dominic - many thankyous mister fella.

Kyle - thanks, I hope he appeals to all the fellow zombie fans out there (as well as preschoolers, naturally...)

Something - you still haven't explained who you are or where you're posting from! :-)

This whole username thing that this site uses is confusing. Somehow it decided one day to try to use one of my gmail addresses and it worked. I think that's because gmail owns blogspot.

I'm the guy that asked you to draw a moose in the book at the Red Stick thing.

I agree with you on the CafePress thing as unless you physically promote yourself. Even if you do a search on the site, I still cant find my stuff!!!

Im still luvvin' the Cat although Im sure one of his legs has fallen off in the piccy with Lottie. ha-ha

Bristol Andy

PS - are you sure I cant tempt you to put bolts on his neck in the shape of fishes ; )

Moosething - ah right, I gotcha sir :-D I've been out with Stacey Simmons the director of Red Stick this last couple of days - she's here visiting Animex so it's nice to catch up.

Allen - your colourised "Garum" looks grand, very Swamp Thing!

Josh P - good to hear from you again Mister Man. I got one of the lecturers from CalArts in my company here too, Karen DeJong, Disney conceptual and background artist. Very cool lady!

Andy - I think Cafe Press is ok if you can direct folk to it, but if you're browsing for something cool you have no chance!

Steve - you can reach me on my frankscat@hotmail.com address sir

Hey Bling, just gave that Threadless thing a bash. It seems pretty straight forward, perhaps you are just too busy dragging your hairy knuckles around on the floor to figure it out! :)
Give me a shout if you need a hand, or I can tell you all about it tomorrow night.
