WARNING: Fat Man on Trampoline alert

So, Emma and I were asked to join the North East's leading animation studio's director's for dinner over the weekend, Niel and Dianne Bushnell of Qurios Entertainment.

Imagine our surprise when we discovered it was just a ruse by Mr Bushnell to get me to leap for his amusement on his (not his children's) trampoline. If anyone is interested in cutting edge computer animation in the North East of England, concept development in gaming, or has even a passing interest in watching a grown man leap around on a trampoline doing "snake hip" twists while wearing a pink leotard, might I direct you to contact Mr Bushnell directly and he'll take care of all your animation, gaming and girlie needs.

Thanks to Mr Bushnell for the following:

"Just plained warped"

The trampoline? Yep, I know. I need to diet....

Did Niel have a bucket there to catch any loose change in ?

The term is 'swivel-hips', and my leotard is more of a fuschia. Everything else is true... apart from diane having only one N.

This has made my day.

Looked like snake hips to me, but then I'm an amateur when it comes to trampolining. I bow to your superior knowledge Bushy on all things vertically, horizontally and diagonally gymnastic. And acrobatic.

Apologies to lovely Diane for overzealous misuse of letter "n" :-D

I'm sure she won't mind - she doesn't read this anyway!! :)

Tramapoline! Trampopoline!

YOWZER! It's like I've taken my place alongside the pantheon of animation greats such as Spongebob and the Pink Panther: TRAMPOJOBLING!

Many thanks Mr Bushnell for immortalising me as a moving image - You must have had a quiet afternoon! ;-D

Cousin, dearest - don't underestimate the power of gravity. What you don't see between those two frames is the recoil of my many chins in the intervening moments. I swear, it was like a pelican's bib on that thing!

(PS: Smartin, if you choose an "Other" identity you can put your actual name in squire!)

It IS hypnotic, isn't it? This is where I tell you all to send your money to Mr C Jobling, The Reading Rooms, yadda yadda yadda......

I. N. J. Culbard said...

Don't worry, you can see the chins begin recoil in the first picture. I can only imagine that between that and the second one you may have thought you'd either blacked out or been momentarily blinded as your chin rolled up in front of your face like some freakish cobra of shame.

Hey, don't panic, really, don't. I've heard that in some parts of the world that's kind of a sexy look. Mostly in prisons.

I'll have you know that a prodigious accordian-esque goiter is a sign or regality... so George Lucas tells me, anyway...

"Aaah, chilled monkey brains!"

Andrew Glazebrook said...

You had to mention Lucas didn't you !!!! Did I ever tell you what I thought of the Star Wars prequels and Special Editions ? No I didn't think so,well...

I. N. J. Culbard said...

They're great aren't they?

Jo Bling said...

If we're talking Star Wars and many chinned fat characters I'd like to try and steer this ship away from it's course towards the inevitable JOBBO THE HUTT jokes.....

Howay, Fusilier Cousin, when can we expect to see a blog of yours for all things Napoleonic? The least I want to see is some nice pix of your good self sporting your enormous burners avec musket in hand! Get a blog set up, man.... ;-)

We're off with the kids to Blackpool to see your Mum and Nan on friday by the way. Illuminations time has come round again!

In the same way as Pluto occasionally crosses inside the orbit of Neptune, it looks like we're entering one of those infrequent eras where I can sit in my brother's shade on a hot day again!

Jo Bling said...

Anonymous? Pah! I recognise those dulcet tones as my heavenly sibling, the petite Jupiter. AKA Mark. Cheers big man!

'Job's for the Toys'

Curtis Jobling travels the country sneaking into gardens and playing on childrens toys to within an inch of their lives. The proceedings are secretly filmed as he manages to talk his way around irate parents and fearful children by explaining he 'created' Bob the Builder.

Winner!
