I'm that Curtis Jobling, writer and illustrator. You may know me as designer of "Bob the Builder" (sorry) and creator of "Raa Raa the Noisy Lion" and "Frankenstein's Cat". I'm also the author of the "Wereworld" series of fantasy horror novels and the darkly comic YA thriller "Haunt". Published by Puffin, Penguin US, Simon & Schuster and Egmont around the world.

House for sale!
Been a busy weekend, as it was Evie's first birthday and Andrew lost his first tooth (cue mixture of excitement and horror from small boy!) We also had an article featuring my big visage in the Saturday Yorkshire Post, probably the biggest selling regional newspaper in the UK outside of London's Evening Standard. It ended up on Page 3 (I know, Jobling on page 3, it's a dream come true)...
Yorkshire Post Article
Normal bloggy service to resume with some pictorial goodness by the end of the day :-)
Bada Bling!

And yes, I know it says "creator of Bob". It's an error on the journalists part, sadly, as I did stress I was the designer and not the creator. Ah well, these things happen and are beyond my control...
You're showing a bit of thigh in that photo bling. You tease.
You love it...
What a lovely house you have! Must definitely make an extra effort not to let my wife see it.
You know you're big time when you have an article written about you selling your house. Should lead to a suitable bidding frenzy. Rah!
Joe Pasquale eh?
Did not know that.
To be fair I didn't think there was a story there. However, the Estate Agents, knowing what I do for a living, passed it on to their PR company who in turn let the Yorkshire Post know what was happening. From there the story was born.
Certainly not big time though Nic! ;-D
Joe P is the voice of the cat, aye, and marvellous he is too. Just a shame there's nothing online of the trailer for anyone to see yet.
What with Rentaghost and now Frankensteins Cat, Joe Pasquale certainly has a good head for what he lends his name to these days.
Can't wait to see when something does go live.
Hey, I'll buy your house. Though payment would be delayed bunches and bunches of years. :) I know! I'll scan a dollar and email it to you bunches of times. Though due to currency exchange, the image might have to be lowered in resolution so that I can send more.
Whose is the bare arse under your arm in the picture?? (Quite explicit for Page 3 I'd have thought!)
I don't know! It's very small, almost Hobbit-esque!
Oh, forgot to say, happy birthday, and happy first tooth lost to the kids. :)
I recognise that fella in the pic !
Is it Lou from Neighbours?
Is it Phil from Eastenders?
Is it Elton John?
Good grief!

OK, so again, I can't be held responsible for miscrediting!!!
You're in a national at last. Feels good, doesn't it?
This is nowt compared his appearance on Page 3 of The Sun !!!
It doesn't feel good. (a) I'm miscredited, again and (b) I'm sharing column inches with Jade Goody and Rio Ferdinand!!!
