Good grief, how slack am I? Been quite a while since I posted but I reckon my excuse is bonafide, especially as we've just moved house. Safely ensconced in new abode, with a mountain of boxes dogging my every step. I seem to be engaged in some cunning game whereby I move box after box from one room to another without actually opening any... New carpets arrive on Wednesday so Mrs Bling and I are furiously painting the walls of the living room before they get here. Not easy when you've a toddler, a baby, a mad dog, two psychotic cats that want "out", and a hundred boxes to contend with!
Normal posts to resume soonly, thanks for patience to those of you who've been checking by - I'm not normally this hapless, promise.

Glad to hear things are moving along smoothly. Will we get pictures of the new place later?
(don't know if you saw my question in the previous post so I'm re-posting it)
Hey Jobling, since you have had experience working on movies with this I thought you might be able to answer this question for me. How are the mouths animated on stop-motion animated characters?
Good to see you're back online though. We're still opening boxes and we moved in 15 years ago, it really is about time I bought some new undies or find the box with my others in.
Congrats on the new house. If I promise not to make a scene can I be invited to the house warming party?
Hope you are all settled in now. Don't fancy moving, you're brave with two little ones as well. How's work going busy as usual?
Dragonhead - there's loads of ways of animating mouths in stop motion, from fully articulated lips with paddles hidden within, to replacement mouths and stick-on mouths. Did you make Red Stick last week?
Glazey - oy to your undergrowlers!
JP - oh please DO make a scene - I want our neighbours to know we've arrived! :-D
Cassie - work goes well (as the blog sporadically reports!!) Getting near to crunch time and transmission date for the CAT now too...
Hm... interesting. I asked as I have decided that I will be doing my senior project using stop motion.
Red Stick was fun! Though I missed half of it as they scheduled it during school. I really enjoyed Hans Rjipkema's lecture about Rhythm and Hues as I love seeing behind the scenes stuff. On a related note, something that was said during one of the lectures got me thinking that straight 3D animation probably isn't what I should be going into as a carreer. I'll send you an email about it if you don't mind hearing why I think that.
Happy to listen, DH. Better you decide on something like that now rather than further down the line.
Thanks, I'll send you something within the next week as I am very busy right now. :)
congrats on the new home Jo!!! I would of emailed this to you but I dont have your email... Ace & Aqua is done.. check it out man, its on my blogarooni!
All the best!
Steve
Happy house move!
