As promised, and possibly by popular demand, here is everyone's favourite fishman immortalised in Bobified glory, known to fans of Hellboy as Abe Sapien. See how I've cunningly changed his name via the magic of almost pre-school-esque play-on-words? I scare myself sometimes.......
Hope you all like him, and that includes any shadowy figures from the realm of Dark Horse who may be popping by for a looksee!
Bada Bling!

Ace, my fave supporting character in comics strikes! Didn't really dig the movie version, he was all a bit Fey Yoda for my liking, but Abob works a treat!
Class !! He reminds me of Charley Brown for some reason.
Do one of Borat as Bobrat !!
love abob sapien, that was awesome as always. you inspire me!

Ahem!
Great, I knew it was coming!
Cool take! Thanks for visiting, too!
Cool.
Nik - this one is slightly fey too, to be fair. Mind you the movie version was voiced by the dee-lovely David Hyde Pierce.
Glazy - I'm afraid there won't be any BOBrat appearing on here any time soon sir!
Todd - thanking ye kindly, matey
INJun - ahem? Je ne comprend pas!
Josh - you and your Jedi mindtricks... ;-)
Marco - thanks for calling in fella
Gobeestsabri - I'll take that as a strange compliment!
Paul - I know, I know, ABOBinable Dr Phibes, yeah yeah...
I like how happy he looks! :)
Haha 'pre-school-esque' is why it works, man! Good stuff as usual.
brilliant!! more! :) do you do requests, I want me in a bob styley!!
ahaha great work with good ol abe, lookin great man, ur blog is off the hook
cheers!
Great drawings man.. They put a smile on my face.
It’s been a while, Mr. Bling, but I’m back and I’m seriously mad about these last couple of posts. It would be great to see these guys in motion. Can you get any of the Bob the Builder crew to whip something up for us?
UB - cheers man, I mentioned to someone who works on the BPRD comics that this is the happiest he's looked in AGES! :-D
Ryan - I should copyright that phrase ;-)
Rubber-chicken - you do realise not knowing what you look like rather compounds my chances of doing a Caricabob of you, don't you???
Godofredox - many thanks for calling in and the kind words, mate!
Jon - glad to be of service!
Justin - chances of getting the Bob the B guys to rustle up anything with these characters is more remote than a fart on Jupiter, alas. The puppets cost thousands and suffice to say they're pretty clamped down on what gets produced in studio :-( That said the guys who work there I'm sure would LOVE to do 'em!
hahaha love the hellboy work maybe you could do a batman or should i say bobman.
Is this Michael "of the Harrop" a relation of mine via Blackpool perchance??? Do confirm!!!
yes yes its your cousin for sunny blackpool. its really good to see you enjoy some of the finer comic characters out there hope to see more bob a likes soon.
have you come across a little animation by the name of samurai jack, its quite amazing very stylized and sharpe. if you havent please check it out but im sure you have. and theres another for you mr jobling samurai bob hehe.
Didn't know you were a comics afficianado, Michael! Say hi to my favourite big daft Uncle for me wouldya! ;-)
Samurai Jack rocks. Fact. If you like that, Michael, check out the animated Clone Wars Star Wars spin-off by the same guy - infinitely better than the movie prequels...
clone wars was very good i only caught the second season though much better than dawsons creek in space haha. Yeah ive been into comics and stuff for a long time now ive created a couple of mini comics for myself, which are still kind of incomplete but were fun to do. haha yeah not a problem ill pass the hello on to the bald wonder for you.
I remember when he had a full head of luscious ginger locks...
Oh hang on a minute, that was Cilla Black. Unkie Bob's always been a chromedome!
