Crack open the paint pots!

Just got back from a family holiday to France which I can genuinely say is the first holiday I've been on in many a year where I've managed to completely switch off from my work. What a treat! Back in the groove now.

Booked flight and accomodation to get over to MIPCOM in Cannes in October where I'll be promoting work on BITENECK BEATNIKS, FRANKENSTEIN'S CAT and an (as yet still under wraps) new project in development. Hopefully have the development deal in place for that before I go.

My FRANKENSTEIN'S CAT art show is now in production, and these are the first three layouts. As mentioned previously I'm looking to produce 9 episode paintings that capture the show, and these will be reproduced as limited edition giclee prints for sale down the line. The art show itself will hopefully feature in galleries all over - do contact me if you're interested.
Also, I've stuck my details into FACEBOOK if anyone wants to find me and add me - there aren't many Curtis Joblings there I can assure you...
Bada Bling!

I LOVE these pics! Will you transfer these to canvas / board or paint straight over these drawings?! I would love to see the finished paintings!

Is MIP worth going to?
I've never been and have a friend In London telling me that it's worthwhile.
I am over in the US and have an animation property that is being shopped around. Have full treatment, pitch bible, pilot script, and models of my characters.
Just wondering if this is the place to find development partners or an agent.
Cool stuff man!

Glazey - twas splendid, sir, truly relaxing

Tim - the pics here are the outlines on board. They've already been transferred from my sketchbooks where I've actually designed 30 painting/posters. Won't be doing that many, just aiming for the 9 to begin with, starting with FREAKSHOW

Chaosboy - cheers buddy, thanks for kind words

Gobeetsa - if I do under-drawings does that make me an under-drawer? I sound like some kind of ladies bedclothes!

Anonymoose - this'll be my first trip to MIP personally although my projects have been out there the last few years. Don't know about fishing for agents, there are better ways of doing that, but it's a great place to meet broadcasters and push your show

Ah, great paintings! Always good to see the working methods of a corrupted mind! You know what you should do, you should make a video of the whole painting process from start to finish ala the late, great Bob Ross! I'm sure you can find the time...
