Scarlett Victoria born 10/10/06

Proud dad and daughter here! Emma and "Lottie" are both well after a pretty traumatic birth. Lottie weighed in at 9lb 1oz which is pretty blooming big. This should explain my absence from posts and whatnots in the last week though.

Below we're joined by Evie, the doting big sister, and Nanny, my mum. Evie can't stop kissing her, bless, and kicks up a right fuss if she doesn't get to. Lottie bears an uncanny resemblance to Evie, as Evie had a full shock of black hair when she was born also (although she obviously "blonded up" at a later date!) Facial features are spookily similar though (and no, I don't just mean that they both have eyes, a nose and ears and the like!)

She's beautiful and I can only thank my wonderful wife for gifting me another darling daughter. AJ gets to meet her next weekend so that's the next thing we have to look forward to :-)

Illustration posts are obviously to a minimum at the moment but I'll be back on the pony before you know it, I promise!

Congratulations all round, and in particular to Emma. I hope the birth wasn't to traumatic, although it's always worthwhile in the end when you have the result of nine months work to hold in your arms.

Heh he, just realised if Curtis and Mr Culbard opened a shop they could have a Bling & Bard sale! Mwhhhaaaarrggghhh!!
You could sell jewel encrusted copies of Shakespears books! Teehhheeehheeh!

Sorry.

I'm going outside now.

Hey, look at that, joy, joy, joy! Hope everyone is doing well and are all fine and dandy. Looks like you're not going to be leaving the toilet seat up anytime soon in the Bling household.

9lbs? Oof, what a weight!

Big Congrats, and hope you get some sleep in time for Christmas.

Well done to you and your wife. Two more friends of mine have just had babies with their significant others so well, there must have been something in the air about nine months ago...

the creative clusters event is to promote urban regeneration in the region. i'm not sure if it's specific to newcastle and gateshead but there's a couple of hundred people been invited to come over and look at the baltic, seven stories etc. Mushroom Works where i'm based is on the agenda as well. Apparently this building was once a toffee factory. I'm try to keep up the tradition by eating vast amounts of chocolate as i write this actually.

If you've been invited to attend the seven stories evening that might be good to go to. Let me know if you are attending and i'll cheer from the back row if you are going to make a speech!
